Wow. The past seven years have really flown by, but I suppose that's a good sign.
I made a list of qualities that I wanted in a future eternal companion when in Young Women's (it seems) many years ago, and he more than lives up to each of them.
He still makes me laugh every day. I never want that to change. I'll never forget the way he made me smile on our wedding day for thousands of pictures by whispering "your mom" jokes in my ear. And the jokes continue, although we have matured a little past "your mom" now, I think.
On a more serious note, he is a worthy priesthood holder, and has given some really powerful blessings to our children and me in times of need. I love that the priesthood is so accessible in our home.
Rob is certainly the best husband and father I could ever ask for. He takes care of and even spoils me, and I love watching him interact with our children. He has a tender place in his heart for each one. They just love their daddy.
He happily supports our family so I can stay home and raise our children. It's such a blessing to be a stay-at-home mom.
He is still as laid back as the day I met him. It takes a lot to frustrate or stress him out. He has taught me a lot in this area.
He works when he has to and plays whenever he can. There is no shortage of fun to be had in our family.
He's one of the most intelligent people I know, and teaches our kids so much.
I thought I was in love with him seven years ago when we got married, but our love has deepened and taken on such a new meaning since that day. I look forward to many more years and an eternity with this amazing, handsome guy who I am lucky enough to call my husband.
