Opening the big present.
Rosie the train to add to his "Thomas the Train" collection. He also got Bill and Ben-the twin yellow trains.
A balance bike! The front wheel didn't work right, so he couldn't ride it on his birthday, darn it.
We had planned on taking Blake to Chuck E Cheese, but he just kept saying "side" meaning outside, funny kid. It was a beautiful day, so we bought a pizza and had a picnic at the park and then let the kids play for a long while.
My cute girl. She had a few issues with Blake getting so much attention and especially about his presents, but she overcame it by the afternoon. She kept asking us why it was his birthday now and hers next month because she was born first :)
The cute birthday boy.
It wouldn't be a day at the park if you didn't play in the dirt
Blake's new slide
The candy bar chunk train cake that he ate two bites of. I guess that's progress from last year. But Rob and I enjoyed it.
He did at least lick some frosting.
And poked at the cake.
One of his two token bites of cake before he said "done.
We love this little guy so much and are so happy that he came into our lives two years ago. The next post is his special birthday letter from his mom.

Happy Birthday Blake! I hope you got the wheel working. If not, have Dan fix it.
