So we've been battling the heat here, but even so I love summer. That being said, our AC decided to go out on the hottest week of the year, of course. After two sweaty days and sleepless nights, long story short, we got that fixed and are back to business. Thank goodness.
Natalie started taking swimming lessons this week. She is making improvements every day. At first, she was afraid to even put her head in the water, but today I once again discovered that bribes really work.
We've been doing a lot of hiking. Natalie's favorite hike is up to the "rock house" (picture below). We also discovered a fun hike called the "mystery trail" that few people know about.
I've also been training for my second sprint triathlon, which I will do at the end of August. Yay!

We've taken a few zoo trips this summer, early in the morning to beat the heat.
We saw this guy at the trail head of the hike we were going to do. Needless to say, we drove up further and then hiked.
