New Year's Festivities with the Grandparents

It was so fun spending the last part of 2015 and the first part of 2016 with family in Utah.  First we visited my family in Santaquin and then we headed up to Park City for a week for the annual Bell Family ski vacation.
 Auntie Melissa and baby Lincoln.
It made my heart happy to see all the girls-Abby, Alice, and Natalie playing music together.  They were trying to come up with a duet. :)
Grandma Hales had the magic touch with Lincoln.  If he was ever fussy and not wanting to give in to sleep, all I had to do was pass him off to Grandma.  Mom's mom, Grandma Heelis passed away while I was visiting Utah. I was so glad that I happened to be there so I could visit her at her bedside in the hospital before she passed.  The funeral services were a perfect dedication to her life.  Lots of tears were shed, but we know we will see her again.  She was a special lady and will be missed greatly, but her wonderful legacy lives on in my own mother.  I'm so grateful to have been born to such great parents who brought me up in righteousness and taught me important skills, values and ethics so I can in turn teach my children.
My mom spent a lot of time in the hospital by her mom's bedside before she passed, so she wasn't able to come shopping with us, but Melissa, Jessica (Brad's wife) and I all made our traditional trip to the mall for some after-holiday shopping.  It was a disappointing trip in that we didn't find much, but it was fun to get out together.  I just had to capture this shot of little Ollie (Melissa's little boy) and Lincoln in the stroller together.
I went to lunch at Cafe Rio with my sisters and sister-in-law Jessica one of the days.  Gotta get in my Cafe Rio!  I wish they'd start one here!
Peyton (Brad and Jessica's little girl) was so cute to bring her Christmas makeup set over to the house and practice on Jane.  :)  They looked beautiful.
They played pretty well together this time around, which must mean they're growing up.  :(
 My sister Lucy with Lincoln.
Grandpa Hales snuggling Lincoln.  Lincoln has always been more drawn to males for some reason. He's a total daddy's and grandpa's boy.
My brother Bradley put Lincoln to sleep.
 He's a thumb sucker!
On New Year's Eve at my parents, we ordered pizza and had yummy appetizers, along with banana splits and then I put together some minute to win it games for the kids.  It was fun.

 My brother Joseph with Lincoln.
Lincoln just melted right into Grandpa.
Jane always asks to hold Lincoln. She is such the adoring sister.  Such a sweet girl!
This is right before we said goodbye and headed up to Park City.  The little girls were all crying.  I'm glad they enjoy being together.  They're great friends.
Then we headed up to Park City where there was tons of snow! The kids built snowmen and Rob took Natalie and Blake skiing for a day.  I stayed home for the week because it would have been too hard to ski with me nursing Lincoln.  It was a nice, relaxing week.

This baby is just too cute for words.
Grandpa Bell loves playing with his grandbabies.
Lincoln and his awesome big sister Natalie.  She takes such great care of him.
Grandma reading bedtime stories to the kids.
