Oh how we love this sweet boy! He's so happy and just thinks the world of his brother and sisters. His laughs are contagious. He's still having trouble eating baby food ever since he got RSV. He wakes up 2-4 times a night, 2 if I'm really lucky, but 3 most often. He's already gotten his first haircut. He's scooting around all over the place and can sit on his own. He's already into whatever he can get his hands on, so I'm constantly picking up the floors. He still manages to find things I never knew were there, like hair balls. :)
He throws a pretty great fit when strangers hold him. Today, for instance he was almost in convulsions when a nice lady at church held him while I practiced and then performed with the choir. Funny story with that, so I had Lincoln playing on the floor while I practiced with the choir before sacrament meeting and I told Blake to keep him happy. Rob was home sick. Natalie was turning my pages. So then I heard Lincoln throwing a fit and saw a lady go and pick him up and take him out and Blake followed. Later the lady told me that Blake didn't want her to take Lincoln. He was worried that she was trying to kidnap him or something. So Blake had told her that his mom wanted Lincoln to stay there. He then told her that, "Lincoln doesn't do well with strangers" to try to deter her again. Then when the lady took him out, Blake followed her all concerned and said that his mom wanted Lincoln to stay in the chapel. Ha ha! Sweet, protective big brother. I had to explain to him that she was just trying to be helpful and that we trust people at church to not kidnap our baby. :)
If I had a nickel for every time I said this, but I seriously wish I could freeze time, because our handsome baby is growing up way too fast! He is so loved by all in this family.
