We updated the lighting in our kitchen! No more ugly fluorescent huge fixture! We took it out and added in recessed lighting and a new fixture over our island. I love how it turned out.
Blake still falls asleep in the most random positions. One day I'll compile a book of them. :)
Blake is obsessed with super heroes and masks. This particular day, he couldn't find his masks, so he asked me to make one. A minute later, this card board wonder was born in all its glory.
Why is it that often the simplest things make for the best entertainment? Who needs toys?
Blake had his first dentist's visit and he was a champ! No cavities and no tears! I can say that he really did have fun there, because he asked when we could go back.

We got a few snowstorms! The kids loved playing in it. Here's Jane's first experience with the white stuff. She loved it, even though her hands were freezing, since we didn't have proper gloves.
Blake had a great time, too, making a snowman and just running around. We don't get to see snow very often around here.

In other news, I was in charge of the ward Christmas party, since I'm the second counselor in the RS over activities and the RS was put in charge of it. It was a ton of work, but turned out really well. There was plenty of food and the entertainment was simple yet fun.
