Before-Christmas Fun

We love kicking off December by making graham cracker houses on the first family night of the month.  Blake really liked the frosting, as you can tell.

Annual visit to Santa.  Jane was not a fan.

I hosted a recital at our home for my music students. Natalie got to play for the first time in front of a big crowd.  She played SO well.  I was one proud momma. She loves learning the piano.  That's not to say that she doesn't whine occasionally when I ask her to practice.

Ugly Christmas sweater photo.  I went thrifting and found some amazingly ugly sweaters.  I sewed a stuffed animal onto Natalie's and decorated the front of Blake's also.
I just love these cute kiddos.  They really are the lights of my life.

With each child, it becomes harder and harder to get a good family photo.

We took the kiddos to the River of Lights again this year.  It's at our Botanical Gardens, but everything is lit up.  It's a pretty amazing set up.

There was much fun to be had and it wasn't too cold.  If we would have chosen to go the week before, like I was planning on, it would have been 7 degrees.  Eek!

The kids by Frosty.
