Christmas in Park City with the Bells

We were lucky to spend Christmas at Rob's parent's second home in Park City. It was so fun and crazy being all together during that special time of year.   We made lots of memories.

We got to go see the play "A Christmas Carol" on the 23rd in Provo. It was phenomenal!  Melissa and Brandon watched the two younger kids (thanks so much!) and Natalie got to come with the adults.

 Cousins Brian and Blake playing.

I just loved watching all the kids play nicely together...until the disagreements inevitably happened.

Aunt Kym made the kids super hero masks out of paper plates.

These sweet cousin babies (Jane and Brandon) were born only 2 minutes apart!

We got in lots of skiing, and even Natalie hit the slopes one day with Rob.

 Blake chilling with Aunt Chelsea.

 New jammies on Christmas Eve.

Blake fell in love with his at first sight and didn't want to take them off the whole time we were there.

We opened presents from each other on Christmas Eve.

Grandpa got this cool Grinch hat, that he let Blake try on.  Blake liked it a little too much.

Christmas morning.  Natalie and her tiger were inseparable.

She was nice and let Blake sit on it with her, though.  Just for a short while.

Jane absolutely loved her doll.  She's a sweet little mommy to her baby.  She has the sick look here, though.  It's no fun to not feel well on Christmas.

Rob got me a new iphone and TWO certificates to See's! He knows me all too well.

I got Rob some super soft slippers, a belt and jeans and a video game he'd been asking for.

Grandpa built the world's most awesome snow man with the kids.  Our own little Olaf.  We went to see "Frozen" on Christmas Eve, by the way and LOVED it.

We had Christmas dinner with the Saltzmans (the Bell's good friends).  They were visiting from England, staying at their place in Midway.  It was so fun to see them again.  I want an English accent!

I thought Jane's face was too cute here.  She felt so big sitting with Natalie, even if it was at the tiny table.

My pretty sister Melissa came to see me one day in Park City.  She originally planned to leave the next day after this photo was taken, but ended up extending her trip.  Yay! We went to Kneader's for lunch.  It was fun to see her baby belly in person!  Only a few weeks left!  I can't wait to see the little guy!

I got to ski two days.  Utah is gorgeous!  I kind of always took it for granted, growing up there, but now I miss its beauty!  I went once to Deer Valley and we met my brother Bradley once at Brighton.  It was so good to see him again after two years!  He'd just returned from a mission for our church to Mexico.  Love that dude.

The Sunday before Christmas. Grandma bought all the grandkids new Christmas church outfits.  Don't these girls (Natalie and cousin Kjerstin) look so pretty?

All the grandkids (kind of) together.  It's the best I could get.

Me and my cute babies before church.

Ha ha.  This is one that we'll reference for years to come.  It'll quite possibly end up on a slide show at Jane's wedding reception too. :)

The entire Bell family before church. Good looking bunch!

Christmas Eve.  Brian and Kym were with Kym's family.
These were the best pj's ever!

Christmas morning.  Just waiting for the go-ahead to come down and start ripping into the presents!  Natalie looks thrilled. :)

Blake was really hoping Santa would bring him a huge Superman!

Natalie loves reading, and got a set of Ramona Quimby chapter books.

...and a dragon.  She really was excited about this one, despite the look on her face here.

Blake got The Hulk and Iron Man figures.

Natalie got her huge stuffed tiger and a tiger hat/gloves.  She has never been one to like dolls, dang it.  But stuffed animals are fun too.

Blake in his Super Man pose.

He of course had to have the cape too.  Boys are so cute.

Jane had a really high fever the night of Christmas Eve.  I was up with her most of the night.  I worried about her a lot.  I gave her a cool bath and Rob gave her a blessing and the fever had gone down the next morning.  But she still was not feeling completely well again just yet.  Poor thing.  It unfortunately turned into what I later determined was the hand, foot and mouth disease. Oh goody!  Natalie got the fever portion, but not the rash, luckily.  I got the awful rash and a very painful mouth, but not the fever, luckily.  Crazy! We get sick every time we go to Utah.  Without fail.

Showing Melissa how to use my camera (she had just gotten the same one for Christmas).

I captured this adorable photo of aunt Melissa and Jane.

These girls cheesed it up for me as I gave Melissa some pointers on the camera.
