Year-End Highlights

Natalie's preschool Christmas party at Tagg's house. They played musical chairs for gifts, made a Christmas craft, ate pizza, and of course Sister Clements talked about the reason for the season.

Talking about the Christmas Story. I love how when Ann asked them about why we have Christmas, the first answer, almost in chorus, was "presents!" Then she kept trying to get the real answer out of them and they said "Santa!". Ha ha. We tried so hard to drill it into Natalie's head this year, but I guess it's hard for a kid to think of anything but presents around Christmastime.

Natalie's googly-eyed gift.

Christmas snow a few days before Christmas! Yay!

Daddy made a snowman with the kids.

Trip to the aquarium on Christmas Eve Eve. Blake and Natalie loved "Nemo" and "Dory".

And this is certainly not a highlight, but I somehow contracted strep throat a week before Christmas. What the...? I haven't had strep since college. I have no idea how I managed to get it cause I'm normally very healthy, but it was miserable. Rob caught it too but, thank goodness, the kids did not.
