My students had a piano/violin recital back in December. They made me proud. It was cute-little Addy was the first on the program because her family had to leave early and she hid under her chair and wouldn't go up, even when I told her I would sit with her. But after the recital, she played her songs perfectly for me.
The Smith kids just started piano back in September and I can't believe how far they've already progressed. They were such good sports to play in the recital. My other student, Wells, plays piano and violin. He had a violin song ready for the recital and changed it a few days before the recital. I was a little concerned after hearing it at lessons, but I marked up his music with helps and then he practiced really hard and played well for the actual performance.
I have four piano students-soon to be five, and one violin student. I really enjoy teaching these kids, and they all played so well!
Wells' face is totally Wells in this picture. Classic.
