Christmas Eve night we have a tradition of opening gifts from one another and grandparents. We get pajamas from the Sand Man too. We started this year's Christmas Eve night festivities by eating at Chili's and then coming home, getting in our new PJ's and reading the Christmas story from the Bible. Then we tore into the presents while Christmas music played in the background. I love Christmastime and am so grateful for my Savior and His birth and life.
Annual Christmas Eve family photo in our new Jammies.
Blake opening his cars from Mom and Dad to go with his car and city mat. Mommy went overboard crafting this year for the kids.
Opening her "big present" as she called it.
Opening their books from Mom and Dad.
Natalie got a doll bunk bed, courtesy of her mother's handiwork and sweat, blood and tears. :) It was not an easy project, as I thought it would be. But I was so grateful to have my friend's help.
My awesome hubby got me the iPhone 4S! LOVE IT! I got spoiled. I also got (with Christmas money from my good in-laws) some new boots, a sweater and belt, and some super cute skis which should be coming any day! Can't wait to try them out. They also got me a cute red purse, which I love. My parents gave me a saw and a stud finder so I can re-do my bathroom. Yay!
I made Rob a "We Love Daddy" photo board for his work office with the kids' handprints and the year in the back. He also got a new computer monitor and some jeans from his wonderful wifey. :)
Opening his car mat from mommy.
The clothes (made thanks to my new sewing machine) were meant for her new doll from Santa, but she wanted her animal friends to wear them instead. It was hilarious watching her stuff her froggy into a little doll shirt and skirt. And then she loaded her bunk bed with her animals.
Blake got a train set from Grandpa and Grandma Bell, which he can't stop playing with. I think Natalie was and is a little jealous of it.
Natalie got a tea table and chairs from Grandpa and Grandma Bell. Daddy and Blake had a tea party with her on Christmas Eve. :)
