On our way to Utah for our annual Park City ski trip, we made a stop in Durango, Colorado for a ride on the Polar Express. It was even better than last year! We ate at Mickey D's before because we were a little early, and let the kids play. Blake got stuck at the top of the slide at the playplace, so mommy had to climb in and rescue him. Those things are definitely not made for adults.
It was just so fun to watch the kids' faces as they saw the steam in the distance and heard the train coming. So magical. I love this tradition and hope to do it every year while the kids are little.
Ha ha. I love Natalie's face in this one. Blake was so excited to see the train coming. He's obsessed with trains right now. It's so cute.
Waiting for our ride.
Almost time!
It's here!
Boarding the Polar Express!
Daddy's little clone. Blake wasn't excited at all :)
Santa came onto the train and gave each child a Christmas bell and asked what they had gotten for Christmas (since it was a day after Christmas).
Santa brought a few of his reindeer for us to look at after the ride. Natalie and I stood out there for a good 15 minutes watching them. She loved it.
