Our backyard wild rose bush finally bloomed and Natalie wanted a picture with it. :)
Lincoln just loves being outside with his brother and sisters. If they ever go without him, he crawls to the door and knocks on it to get their attention. :)
I finally broke down and got the Garmin watch that I've been eyeing! I love it for keeping track of my times and distances while running, and I'm sure it will come in handy if I ever decide to do another triathlon because it's also great for biking and even swimming.
I just love watching these brothers play together. Makes me so happy.
To celebrate Rob's Birthday/Father's Day we spent a day at Cliff's Amusement Park. It was super hot, but we had a ball.
Lincoln and I mainly chilled and watched them go on the rides and then we all hit up the water park later in the day.
Jane's favorite part is always the carousel.
Haha, this particular day I'd just gotten home from a run and I hear the kids yelling for me in my room. Luckily I had my phone on me to capture a pic, because both Jane and Natalie were wearing my clothes..Natalie even had my bra on. :)
Jane is quite the fashionista and always insists on dressing herself every day. This day I thought she did a particular good job as she paired her watermelon dress with a fluffy white skirt underneath for added cuteness. :)
These sisters are too cute! They've been getting along and playing so well together lately. I've even caught them playing dolls and barbies on occasion, and that never happened before.
Father's Day was a great success. We ate out at a Japanese restaurant the night before, as per Rob's request, then I made pretzel rolls, root beer float cookies and bbq tri-tip for his special dinner that day. The kids sent him on a treasure hunt that morning where he found his cards from them.
Lincoln tasted a pine cone for the first time. I don't think he'll try that one again.
My lifelong dream for my family has been to own a slip 'n slide. I know it sounds really silly, but up until last year, we didn't have grass. So this summer, now that we're in our new home, I knew one of the first things I would do is to buy the kids a slip 'n slide. They love it and ask me to set it up for them almost every day. Dream fulfilled!
