Rob's parents flew us out to see them the beginning of June. It was a trip loaded with fun, as usual. We always love visiting them!
Rob and I got to ride in his dad's beautiful new Ferrari (Rob even drove it, I was too afraid). It was amazing in so many ways. Let's just start with the fact that he got it to 120 mph no sweat on the on-ramp to the freeway. I was just crossing my fingers there were no police nearby.
Lincoln made friends with his uncle Scott.
I was a little excited.
Lincoln also made friends with Chris and Kerri's dog Winston. I don't think the friendship was mutual, though. Winston nipped at him a few times. He's a super nice, sweet dog, though, so I think Lincoln was invading his bubble. :)
We spent a day at the catfish pond, a private, man-made lake that Rob's parents have access to. Grandpa took the kids for some thrilling tube rides and Rob and I waterskiied. It was so fun to be back at it after about a 3 year absence. I even made the green ball course twice in a row!
This kid is always looking outside longingly. He'd be out there all day if he could. There was a heat wave while we were there...it was in the 100's all week, so we had to take breaks and come in for a breather every now and then.
I thought this was too sweet with all the grandbabies gathered around Grandpa Bell while he read them stories. :)
The kids got lots of cousin time in.
Janey enjoyed making some silly faces, as Janey likes to do.
Grandma took us to Chuck E Cheese one day. The kids had a blast.
We spent every spare minute that we could in the pool cooling off.
Lincoln decided that he loves the water.
We had to make a stop at Big Kahuna's for some frozen yogurt. It's amazing!
I missed out on getting pics of us at the water park in Fresno. It was incredible. We spent all day there and were busy the entire time having a blast, riding the slides. Kerri, Sherrie and I did some shopping at the outlets and of course watched girlie movies while eating lots of Dreyer's Slow Churned Ice Cream with LaRayne's famous homemade fudge sauce while the kids were in bed. :)
Rob went rafting with his dad and brothers one day and then they took the kids rafting another day. They flipped the raft, but the kids were all ok, thank goodness. Loads of fun!
