I had my 28 week appointment today.  I still have lots of energy, so I'm hoping it keeps up.  And I'm enjoying still sleeping well at night...I know that probably won't last a whole lot longer.  The Dr. says I'm an ideal patient.  I passed my diabetes test, my weight gain and measurements are right on track, and my blood pressure was a shocking 100/60!  My pregnancies are pretty easy-as far as pregnancies go-once I make it past the awful morning sickness part.  I do get nasty vericose veins that hurt and are so far from attractive, but I am not complaining...there are much worse things to endure.  I'm so grateful for a healthy, easy pregnancy.  I can truthfully say that I enjoy being pregnant...now I know what my mom meant when she said that.  I will really miss feeling her little kicks and the flurries when she turns and moves.  But we also can't wait to meet this sweet little girl.  I've been working a lot in my "sweatshop" as Rob calls it-still making bows and recovering the carrier interior.

I took on an intermediate/advanced sewing project in making the interior.  I didn't have a pattern or tutorial.  I just traced the inside lines on tissue paper and then had to add in for seam allowances and an elastic casing that goes around the outer edges.  It was quite tricky, but it worked, and I'm pleased with how it turned out.
