While in Utah, I showed my Dad a picture of a dresser that I liked on Pinterest. We're re-doing Blake's room right now in preparation for the baby. He immediately started drawing up plans and building it. It turned out exactly how I wanted. My dad is so talented. He even painted it for me. The color is Tomato Red by Behr in case anyone would like to know. I'm always bugged when people post fun projects in cute colors without noting the brand and name of the paint. It barely (and we're talking barely) fit in the back of the van with the back seat down, thank heavens.
After I got home, I glazed it. The top pic is pre-glaze and the bottom two are post glaze. Glaze is basically just a way of antiquing things and bringing out the lines and details. It's kind of hard to see from the pics, but it made a huge difference and I love it! Now Blake has a brand new dresser with tons of space! My dad is awesome!
