We had a wonderful Independence Day filled with furniture shopping for Blake (we bought a bunk bed for his room), a BBQ with some fun friends, and of course fireworks. And we got rain here!-definitely a first in a long time. Luckily, the rain subsided just as it got dark, so it didn't interrupt our fireworks. I love this country!!

Yes we are irresponsible parents and let our 2 year old hold fire. But if it's any consolation, we think he's a pretty smart kid and wouldn't touch it, and he didn't.
