I put it off for as long as I could, but Blake finally got his first haircut a few days ago. It was hard for me to see my baby transforming into a big-looking boy with a few shaves of a razor. He really needed it, though. And he looks mighty handsome, if I do say so myself. Daddy cut it, because he's a pro. Blake was so good for it up until the very end when he decided that he'd had it.
Oops...I forgot to wash his face after dinner. Oh well. He's cute even with a messy face.
He will be one in two days! I can't believe it.

And this is random, but I tried my hand this morning at making a felt flower headband. It was super easy and turned out really cute, I think. It looks even better in real life too. You can't see the 3-D-ness (love my new made-up word) of it in the picture.Natalie always insists on having Sparky wear her hair bands. :) I always thought Sparky was a boy, but apparently not.

The hair cute looks great, I can't believe how big he is already it doesn't seem that long ago that you were announcing you were expecting. Time flies faster with each passing year.
