Houseboat Trip!

We had a blast on our week-long annual houseboat trip with the Bell Family in California. I was a little worried about Natalie because this was her first year there being mobile, but she was perfect. She loved getting in the water and riding in the boat. But mostly, she just kept occupied with her portable dvd player and her favorite movies. She even surprised me and slept pretty well. I even got to spend one night with her up on the top of the houseboat under the stars. She spent much of the night and the wee morning hours chatting away and keeping everyone up, so we didn't do that again.

We did a whole lot of swimming, wakeboarding, waterskiing, wakeskating, tubing, and even sailing. We also had some time for card games and some much-needed relaxation. It was another fun trip on the houseboat.

Me on the wakeskate (the wakeskate is a mix of a surf board and a wakeboard, but without bindings for your feet. It's pretty hard to get up and to keep stable on, but it's a lot of fun)
