Over the Weekend

This past weekend we went to a housewarming party.  They just happened to have a mini petting zoo in their back yard.  Natalie had fun watching the baby chicks and turkeys.  She also got to "feed" the baby goats.  I say it in that sense because she didn't really feed the goats.  She threw the food on the ground instead of holding it in her hand and letting them eat it from there.  They also had two dogs that Natalie enjoyed chasing around.  Rob keeps trying to convince me to let Natalie get a puppy, but I know exactly who would be taking care of it.  Besides, I never did have good luck with keeping pets alive growing up.

Natalie feeding the baby goats.

It's hard to see it, but there was one chick that was black with a yellow mullet-looking thing.  So funny.

Natalie didn't quite dare to touch the baby chicks.

That is the most impressive housewarming party-- that's AMAZING they have their own petting zoo! Is it just for fun, or do they have some kind of farming business? That makes me suddenly want to make my own petting zoo for my back yard. Looks like fun!
