Natalie's Baptism

Natalie was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on May 2nd at the Eubank Stake Center by her dad.  It was such a special day, so filled with the sprit.

There's no doubt in my mind that Heavenly Father smiled down on her that day.
She looked so clean and pure all dressed in white.  Grandpa Bell gave the only talk about baptism and the Holy Ghost.  We weren't sure if he was going to make it, since the airline cancelled his flight the night before, but he got there with just a few hours to spare!   The primary kids in attendance sang a Baptism song and Aunt Chelsea also sang while Natalie was changing after getting baptized.  It was such a beautiful occasion.  We served cookies, milk, and lemonade afterwards for all the friends and family who attended.

I took Natalie to a park a few Saturdays before her baptism day and took these photos for her invitations.

She's such a cute, sweet girl and we are so happy that she's a part of our family.  She impatiently awaited her baptism day for months and months, but it finally came!

My amazing friend, Lindsay, made these cookies for the baptism!  Such a labor of love!  And how cute are they?
We were so glad Aunt Chelsea could come!  She just received her mission call to Siberia and will be leaving after the summer.
I love this family of mine!

It meant so much to us that Grandpa and Grandma Bell came all that way.  Grandma even gave Natalie a beautiful pearl necklace to help her remember the special day.
This day meant a lot to Natalie.  She knew the covenants she'd be making and was so willing and eager to make them.  We love this girl!

Afterwards, we all went out to dinner and Natalie picked the restaurant.
