Catchup

Since I'm so behind on this and always short on time, I'm just going to lump it all together.

Grandpa Bell came to visit for a weekend ski trip.  Rob was going to take the kids, but it was going to be below freezing in Taos, so they stayed home with me.
I just love this picture.  He's such a great grandpa.
They had fun playing games together.  Chris and his wife Kerri came too, but Kerri left a day early to go back to work.
We got one of the biggest snow storms we've ever had the weekend the Bells were here.  8 inches!  The kids had a blast in it.  We stayed home that day because when it snows here, you don't go out for safety reasons.  Natalie had a friend's birthday party, so she still went to that.
We went to the zoo one of the days while Grandpa was here.
Natalie went to a different friend's birthday party and decorated this cute cupcake.
Jane likes to draw on basically everything right now...even herself.  If I take my eyes off her for one minute, bad things can happen. :)  She's my cute little stinker.  When I started to scold her, she said, "it's purple!", meaning it's ok because I decorated myself with my favorite color!
Jane takes such good care of her babies.  She is such a sweet little momma.  At any given time, she is probably holding at least three, if not more. :)
I somehow broke the prongs on my ring and it was while I was sick, so I went without one for about a month until I was well enough to care about getting it fixed.  Good as new!
The kids had a fun St. Patrick's Day.  Mr. Leprechaun left his magic dust all over and a fun treasure hunt for the kids.  They made traps and set them up the night before, but still no luck in catching that tricky little guy this year.

The kids never fall asleep at the same time, let alone fall asleep in the afternoon, so I had to document this.
Blake turned five!  He had been anxiously awaiting this milestone for months!
He got LEGO's and Mario Party 10.

We went to Chuck E Cheese as a family to celebrate.
 Jane really loved Chuck E.

He requested a giant chocolate chip cookie in place of cake, so that's what he got.  And he got to eat one all to himself.
He is my little cookie monster, for sure.

I knew when I was finally feeling like myself again because I finally wanted to paint my toenails.  They were so neglected for months.  It was a happy day.
This is such a sweet sight.  Daddy reading to his three kiddos.  Sometimes I still can't believe that we have three, going on four!
Jane again with her babies.  I think she's destined to have twins some day!
Blake got this Mario costume with some of his birthday money from Grandpa and Grandma Bell.  He is obsessed with Mario right now.  He wants us to name the baby Luigi.  :)
We took a spring break trip to White Sands.  We drove the three hours the night before, stayed at a little motel, then hit the dunes the next morning.  The kids were tired by lunchtime, so we left and went to a fun aquatic center in a nearby town.  Jane loved going down the big tube slide all by herself (in a life jacket, of course).  She's my little daredevil.

Jane enjoyed drawing "mermaids" in the sand.
They had fun burying themselves in the sand and looking for dune bugs.
Jane made quick friends with the bugs.  She's obviously not like her mother in that way.  Blake hates bugs, but finally mustered up the courage to pick one up, and it bit him!  I never knew black beetles bit.  He was actually bleeding a little, and he said in a very disappointed tone, "I just wanted to be its friend!  How come they didn't bite Natalie?"

Jane always has hair in her face because she won't keep her elastics in!  That girl is a free spirit.
This is a picture we're definitely going to show her future husband.  :)  She was making such a funny face while sleeping.
I love when these kiddos get along.  Sometimes I feel like all I do is play referee around here.
We had a wonderful Easter/conference weekend.  The kids loved their Easter baskets and even got to go on an Easter Egg Hunt that mommy set up where the eggs were filled with money (pocket change).
The good morning face.  I think they woke up before 6 am that day because they couldn't stand the anticipation, but I told them they couldn't wake me up until 6.  :)
Jane was perfectly content with her purple play dough and crayons.  If there are two things Jane loves, it's the color purple and to color.  She also loves Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood on Netflix (she calls it "Tiger's Hood") and all things Little Mermaid right now.

We were invited over to some friend's house after conference for Easter dinner, so I just had to make my carrot cake.  It's divine!
We love dropping Natalie off at school and staying to play at the school playground.
My beautiful girls in their Easter dresses.  I got onto a campaign for OshKosh for my blog, so these outfits were FREE!

I missed getting a picture of Blake in his handsome new vest, collared shirt and slacks for Easter.  I'll have to get that later.
Jane doing the "cheese" face for the camera.
I took Blake and Jane to the park on Blake's birthday and snapped a few picture of the five year old birthday boy.

My friend Amy threw me the cutest baby gender reveal party.

 It's a boy!!

This past weekend we took a trip to the botanical gardens.  The weather was beautiful, but still chilly.

Jane was totally pooped out afterwards.
