Other Family Happenings

One of my favorite times of the year here is at the end of summer when the green chiles are harvested. I headed over to Smith's and had a big box roasted.  Then the work of peeling and bagging them ensued.  It's well worth it, though, so we can have the tastiest green chiles ever to add to our food throughout the year.
Here they were in the roaster.
We took a family hike up Sandia Peak.  We always love it there.  It was nice and cool.  It's fun sometimes just to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy nature.
Here they are in the rock house at the top of the mountain.

Jane was a really good hiker and only needed to be carried for a little bit of it.
My cute hiker girls taking a break.
This girl makes the silliest face now when I tell her to smile.  I love it.
I took the kids to the Explora Science Museum one day while Natalie was at school.
They really enjoyed the marble tracks.
But the giant pool of bubbles was their favorite, as usual.  Can you blame them?
Our ward primary had an activity where they got to tour the temple grounds and learn about different things.  Here's the cute kids touching the temple.  They were so quiet and reverent for this part.  It was a really special experience.
I love my forever family!
