My baby is a big first grader now! Her teacher is Mrs. Lewis and she was so excited yesterday to start school (we'll see how long the excitement lasts before I have to start dragging her out the door again). She really likes her teacher and has a few friends in her class from last year, and is excited to make new friends. She sported a Hello Kitty backpack and a new outfit that matched Jane's. She looked too cute. I even curled her hair! And I was proud of myself because I didn't cry when I dropped her off. I may have shed a few quiet tears after, but I held it together when I dropped her off. :) Here's to another great school year getting underway!
