It was an extremely hot weekat the houseboat, and the AC was not working on it (spoiled, I know), so we spent a lot of time in the lake.

The Yentez's-the Bell's family friends joined us on the trip. They parked their houseboat right next to ours. The kids had a blast tubing with them.

Blake kept saying he wanted a really fast and crazy ride. They even tipped over once, and it didn't seem to phase the kids.
We drove back to Rob's parent's house in their suburban and had car trouble. Jane was screaming uncontrollably, so I gave her a sucker. The sticky mess was well worth it.
Natalie was an awesome knee boarder. Here she is with her dad.
When Jane got tired on the boat, the only way to get her to calm down, was to let her drive with Grandpa.
We watched a fireworks show on the lake at the marina, because we were on the houseboat for the 4th, but when we got back to the Bell's house, we did more fireworks of our own.
These babies are already best friends.
The kids swam nonstop. Natalie and Blake became little fish. They went from being terrified of the water, to just loving it. By the end of our trip, Natalie was swimming all over and jumping off the diving board without a life jacket. Blake was swimming around and jumping off the diving board in his life jacket, and going off the slide with no life jacket! I was so proud.
