Jane is absolutely heaven-sent. She really is my little angel baby. She has the sweetest, calmest disposition. She is always smiling or cooing or laughing-even when she doesn't feel well. She wakes up twice a night, but only to eat, and then she goes right back to bed. The past four months have just flown by.
I really want her to stay my baby forever. I would not mind freezing her at this age and this stage forever! But I always say that about every phase.
She is a big-time drooler...my first. She soaks through a bib and her clothes every day. She's constantly blowing spit bubbles and shooting spit bombs onto her cute outfits. She also is very good at clawing her face. I can't seem to keep her fingernails short enough. I trim them, and next thing I know, they are long again! I've tried keeping socks on her hands, but she manages to get them off, so I may have to invent a baby-proof hand cover in the next little while.
She is so wiggly! I don't remember my others being so energetic.
She loves to watch Natalie and Blake play. She just lights up when they come and talk to her.
I think she may be a daddy's girl. Whenever she sees Rob, she starts kicking and making sounds to get his attention and then when he comes over to her, it intensifies until he picks her up.
She was 13 lbs 13 ounces (50th percentile) and 25 1/2" long (90th percentile) at her four month checkup.
She is such a sweet girl and my heart just overflows with love for my Miss Jane, or Janey Cakes as Natalie has started calling her. We adore you Jane! Happy four months!
