A Visit to my Family while in Utah

Aunt Priscilla and Jane

Lucy, Priscilla, Abby, and Luke

Grandpa Hales with Jane

Grandma Hales with Jane.  While we were there, my mom had two gallbladder attacks and had to have surgery to get her gallbladder out.  She's feeling good and won't have to deal with those awful attacks ever again!

It was so fun to see my sister Melissa again!  Love that girl.  She's such a sweet aunt to my kids.  Here she is with Jane and her husband Brandon

A pic with my pretty sis Melissa.  We had so much fun shopping and talking.  Missed you Catherine!
Uncle Thomas and Jane.  Thomas likes to bring candy to the kids and ask, "Who's your favorite?"  He's trained them pretty well to give the right answer.  They know who's got the sugar.

Great Grandpa Hales just loves Blake.  He lives next door to my parents, and he came over often to play with Blake.
These cute love birds got engaged on Christmas!  I can't wait to have Liz as a sister-in-law, and I think she's pretty lucky to get my brother Joe.  He's awesome.  Love that guy.  We got to take them and my sister Melissa and her husband and Thomas and a friend out to dinner while we were in Utah, and it was so fun to meet Liz.  They are such a cute couple.  Can't wait for them to get married March 14!

We went over to my Grandpa Hales' house and he gave Blake the train that used to go around his Christmas tree.  It was a really special gift.  Blake really appreciated it too, since he's obsessed with trains.

Great grandpa Hales with Blake.  Blake didn't even need to be shown how it worked.  He knew just what to push to get it going, back it up, and hear the "all aboard!".  Kids and technology...gotta love it!

We went back and set up the train at my parents' house and the kids played in the middle of the tracks.
Daddy doing "flying baby" with Jane.  She loves this game.  I wasn't able to catch it here, but she always opens her mouth when she goes up.  Sometimes, well quite often, daddy gets drool bombed, but he doesn't mind.

Blake is a grandpa's boy all around.  When my dad went to work, he kept asking, "when is grandpa coming home?"  When he heard the garage, he'd run over to the door and immediately ask Grandpa to play.
Playing with his "other one Grandpa" as Blake calls him

This year, I was lucky enough to put away three Christmases: I helped put away the decorations from the Park City place, my parent's place, and of course my own house, when I got back.  Fun times!
