My sister Melissa has always said that she is not crafty, but she was totally holding out on me. She made this beautiful quilt for Jane and brought it out when she came to visit us. I absolutely love it! This was her first real sewing project and it was perfect. She is amazing and so talented. Now whenever a new baby is born in the family, we will expect Melissa to work her quilt-making magic. There will be no rest for this talented girl.
Jane just loved her auntie Melissa. She's going to be an amazing mom someday. Jane was always so calm and good as long as Melissa had her. Here she was just chillin' with her aunt.
Natalie did not want her to go. She kept asking why Melissa couldn't just stay.
Blake calls her "Lissa", and boy does he love her.

Catherine and Jane
Sweet baby Claire (my sister Catherine's daughter) came to visit too, but she wouldn't let me or Melissa go anywhere near her. Although she did let me touch her arm and kiss her head right before they left to go home.
I bought Claire this outfit for her birthday and I just had to get Jane one too. They looked adorable in their matching clothes.

I made this "give thanks" banner for the kids. Natalie wrote something that she is thankful for on each leaf (she thought of mom, dad, Jesus, Thanksgiving, sun, games, food and clothes), and Blake drew pictures (scribbles) of things he is thankful for. I covered the leaves in Contac paper and the kids used dry-erase marker so we can re-use it next year.

I made this cute guy "Frosty" at Super Saturday craft day at the church yesterday. The ward was making other crafts, but I chose to bring my own to work on instead. The kids have already had way too much fun taking him apart and putting him back together again.
Natalie told me to take a picture of her with her snowman and turkey friends. :)
