Disneyland!

We spent two days in Disneyland with the kids and Grandpa and Grandma Bell and family. Natalie was in absolute heaven with all the princesses and the kiddie rides (especially the carousel). Grandpa was a real sport and rode the carousel with her about 10 times.

Note to self and any other Disneyland goers-September is a perfect month to hit Disneyland. It was not crowded at all and the weather was perfect.

After the two days were up, we sent the kids off with Grandpa and Grandma, who so kindly agreed to watch them, and Rob and I spent the next day alone together in Disneyland and California Adventure, followed by four more days in San Diego. One of the highlights of this no-kids excursion was SLEEPING. It was probably the first time I have slept through the night in 8 months. And, I haven't been able to sleep until 8 am for about 3 1/2 years. It was heavenly.

Our first morning there, we got to eat breakfast with the Disney characters. It was so fun to watch Natalie's facial expressions as each character came through the room and greeted her. It was magical.

Cousins-born only a day apart.

Grandma gave Natalie a little book where all the princesses and other characters could sign. She didn't let it out of her sight the whole trip. And she made sure to bring it over every time we saw a character. It was cute.

Mulan was by far Natalie's favorite of all the characters that came through. After she left our table area, Natalie just stared at her in awe. It was too cute.

Natalie didn't even know who this little guy was.

The Bell fam. We are Disneyland maniacs. One of the days, we didn't even stop to have lunch. We wanted to hit everything that we possibly could in those two days. We arrived right at opening and stayed until closing.

Natalie was in love with Alice. She told her that she's going to be her for Halloween. She's been wanting to try on her Alice dress ever since, but we told her she needs to wait until Halloween and grow more so she can fit in it. It's bribery to get the picky girl to eat.

Another of Natalie's favorite princesses. Natalie already has her Santa list ready-all things Belle- a Beauty and the Beast dress, the Beauty and the Beast movie, and Beauty and the Beast jammies.

Pooh was really cute with Natalie. He helped her get into a pose holding her dress and then he got into his.

Natalie is obsessed with Cars, so she was so excited to see these. She asked if she could get in them.

I agree that Disneyland is perfect in September. I also heard that February is a great time. I love all of your pictures! I wish that we could have spent more time there. Reese also has a cousin that is a day apart from her. So cool!
