Tonight marks Natalie's first night in a "big girl bed". It was really hard for me to move her out of her crib, because it means that she's not my baby anymore. :( But she asked us a few weeks ago to sleep in a "big girl bed", so we figured if she was the one asking, it was probably time.
When I asked her what kind of room she wanted, she told me, "a princess room". It turned out to be quite the project for Rob and me, but we enjoyed making a fun room for our own "little princess".
She talked all week about climbing the ladder on her bunk bed before it was delivered, and that's the first thing she did when it got here.
Natalie is so excited about her new room. While Rob and I labored away painting this weekend, she spent the time dancing in circles around us and singing. It was really cute. We even let her get her hands dirty. She got to put her handprints on the wall with the grassy area.

Hi Christine,
We do have a picture tour of our house, but it is in the postings of November 2009. Enjoy! Wendy

I love it too. I'm so glad you got pictures of it before my kids came and trashed it. I did find replacements for all so I hope it is back to normal in no time. (Soon)
