Our friends threw an ugly button-up shirt party last week. I threw out all of my ugly shirts when we first moved in, so I thought I didn't have anything to wear until I came across a nice pair of what I like to call "mom jeans". I had been looking for an occasion to wear them, so I was really excited. I kept hearing random laughs throughout the night, but I know it was because everyone secretly was jealous :) I think I'm going to start the trend back. They're actually deceivingly uncomfortable, though, because they come so far up on the waist, but it was a good time.
Rob sported a shirt from his teenage years and a 99 cent thrift store jacket from his mission. His nice pants were also products of the thrift store. He won a prize for his fashionable get-up. I took home the prize for best "mother pants" attire.
I don't think the pictures do these things justice. Sorry-I wasn't going to post this shot, but these babies have a way of making the behind look huge. Stylin'!
