Recent Happenings in our Family

It has been a while since I have posted anything. I have been keeping busy taking care of a sick baby. Natalie has had a bad cough for the past week. I've been doing way too much laundry and getting up way too early. Natalie gets up around 4:00 or 5:00 every morning-a combination of the time change and being sick I think. She is doing much better now, but I'm just looking forward to when she is all the way over the cough.

Natalie lately has taken an interest in letters and numbers. A while back when we went to our mailbox, Natalie was pointing to all the letters and numbers so I could tell her what they were. Now, every time we go, I quiz her. She knows the "P" really well and the "8". She also knows the letter "O". She has a ball that has the alphabet on it and she enjoys looking at the letters and asking me what they are.

The other day, Natalie said some really cute things. First, she put a blanket over her head and said, "Baby go?". Then she peeked out. Later on, I sneezed, and she said "Bless you!". I don't know how she learned that one. I don't remember ever saying that around her. She says new words every day. It's so fun watching her learn to talk. I am being more careful of the things I say around her now. The other day I called down the stairs to Rob to help me with something and then Natalie said "Rob". So I have started to only call him Daddy around her.

We are getting excited to go to my sister's wedding this coming week. I will post pictures after we get back. It will be good to see my family again. Catherine had her bridal pictures taken a few weeks ago and this is my favorite. My sister is so pretty!
