Zoo Trip

We decided to buy year-round passes to the zoo since we'll probably be going there quite frequently. Natalie absolutely loves the zoo. Her favorite part this trip was actually the sea lions and otters. They were just playfully swimming around the tank and Natalie just thought it was the funniest thing to see. She also loves feeding the ducks at the zoo. We had to watch her really closely while by the pond to keep her from swimming with them.

One of my favorite animals at the zoo is the giraffe. I have just always liked them.

Natalie loves the lions and tigers. Even before we got inside the zoo, she started making growling sounds.

The mountain lion was sleeping right by the glass. It was just strange to be only inches away from such a ferocious animal.

We were so excited to see the koala bear awake this time. They're nocturnal, so they sleep during the day and are awake during the night, but I guess he got a little hungry and woke up for a quick snack.

This was Natalie's favorite animal at the zoo. She loved watching them swim around and around.

We thought this was about the most adorable thing we have ever seen. The momma monkey was just carrying her baby around on her back. We watched them for a while and she let him down soon and started teaching him how to climb. It was really cute.

Before coming home, we let Natalie play in the water. They had an area where water would randomly squirt up. All the kids were loving it-Natalie included. She would laugh every time she got wet. She could have played there all day.

We all had a blast at the zoo. It was a very fun day.
