Our New House!

I've been getting some requests to see the inside of our new house, so here are some pictures. We finally have our stuff from the movers. That was quite the experience in and of itself. We were without anything but a few changes of clothes and a few toys and books for three weeks. I had quite the time keeping Natalie and myself entertained in our empty house. We read all of her books about 20 times a day.

We love our new house. Natalie especially loves all the space she has to run around. She loves climbing the stairs and she has learned to go up and down all by herself.

Here is Natalie's nursery. I think I was most excited about this room. Since we came from a tiny one bedroom apartment in LA, Natalie did not have her own room and there wasn't even enough room for a full size crib. I had had the cute bedset since before Natalie was born, but this is the first time it has been put to use. Natalie's Grandma Bell bought her the crib and the rug for her birthday. It's still a work in progress in that I want to paint the walls and get some fun things to hang on them.

This is our formal living area. I absolutely love the vaulted ceilings.

This is our dining area with our new table.

This is our kitchen. I love having an island with barstools. I also really enjoy all the cupboard space.

This is our back living area with our new couch and new coffee table.

This is our wonderful, big master bath tub!

So now you've had the official tour of our new house. We are so excited to finally have a home of our own.

Love the house! It's absolutely beautiful. How fun to buy a lot of new furniture at once. We did piece by piece and I'm a big yard sale shopper. I don't know how you did it without your stuff for three weeks, I would go crazy! But it all looks wonderful!
