I held my annual music recital. Everyone performed so well. Jovie, one of my students, played a song and surprised the kids by asking them to come up and sing. :)
Natalie played Carol of the Bells, March from the Nutcracker and Angels We Have Heard on High. She did so well and has come a long ways this year in her piano abilities.
Jane and I had a fun afternoon making gingerbread cookies together while Lincoln was napping.
I attended an Ugly Sweater, Ugly Christmas Ornament Party and it was a hilarious blast, as always. Janice and I won the ugliest ornament contest (we brought the same ornament). Isn't it great? You can't see it in the photo, but the teeth had braces. :)
We went to our favorite house in Albuquerque that has the amazing lights that are synched to music. You tune your radio station to a particular one and can listen while the lights go.
Lincoln thought it was funny that this sled was just his size.
Our annual trip to Santa just wouldn't be complete without a crying child. I loved Lincoln's reaction. Kinda makes it more exciting. :) And, bonus, we didn't have to wait in a line because we got there right when they opened!
It snowed a lot over one night during the kids' Christmas break, so they had a great time sledding down the driveway.
The kids get excited to decorate their gingerbread house on the first family night in December. It's a favorite Christmas time tradition!
The first snow of the season and Lincoln wasn't quite sure what to think of it.
