My birthday and our 11th Wedding Anniversary

My birthday landed on Rob's Friday off, but he had customers in town and was hosting a class, so he had to go to work.  We went out as a family to Cheesecake Factory (so delicious, by the way).  He got me my dream kitchen that needs to count for every birthday, anniversary and Mother's Day gift from here on out. :)
Here we are on our anniversary in our nearly completed kitchen.  Just a few more days and I can cook again!  It has been a quite the process, but everything has gone very smoothly.  That being said, I can't wait to have the mess that's spread around the house cleaned up.  When the kitchen is under remodel, it feels like the whole house is in chaos.  I'm pretty sure the first thing I'm going to make in the kitchen is Chocolate Chip Cookies. How we've missed them.

We've been fortunate enough to have a large laundry room that we could set up our microwave and toaster in.  Our laundry room also has a sink where I've been able to do what little dirty dishes we generate.  We've become accustomed to eating out on paper plates.

I can't wait to have a sink disposal and a convection oven!
Time flies when you're having fun!  I can't believe we've been married 11 years.  It seems like just yesterday I was driving up to the temple with my family at the crack of dawn to be sealed for time and all eternity to this wonderful man.  I love going through life with my best friend by my side.

Rob picked up breakfast and we ate it at home that morning.  We had a relaxing day with the kids and then a not so relaxing evening at a restaurant with the kiddos.  Getting a babysitter has been a huge challenge since we moved, but I keep telling myself that in a few years, things are really going to change since Natalie will be old enough to leave at home with the kids.  But for now...date night?  What's that?

After dinner, we went to Macy's and I picked out some new dishes for my new kitchen!  Ours (which were wedding gifts) are getting pretty shabby, which really makes me feel old!
