November Happenings

I got a new "blogging" station!  We searched high and low for this beautiful piece that would fit in such a small area in the corner of our living room, but it's just what I needed!
Jane could read books all day!  This evening she got out a pile, plopped herself down, and started from the top. :)
Jane has her own style.  She still insists on choosing her outfit every day.  This particular day when we took Natalie to school, she was adamant about wearing her Princess Sofia shoes.  They went "click, click" on the sidewalks and everyone turned and smiled.
We took another trip to the science museum on Natalie's day off.
Jane had just biffed it before this picture, thus the puffy red eyes.
Natalie loves her lizard.  Every night she takes little "Sunspot" out and lets her crawl all over her in the shower.
The kids made sure to write letters to Santa early so they could get a response.
I flew out to Utah by myself so I could attend my brother Bradley's wedding.  Kudos to Rob for watching the kids for the weekend!

They got married in the Draper, Utah temple at 8:30 am.  It was early and SO cold!
You wouldn't know from this picture, but the biting cold wind was whipping through and our teeth were chattering.  Here's me with my sisters (minus Priscilla who's on a mission in Costa Rica) and plus a sister-in-law Liz.
Brad and Jessica are such an adorable couple.  Jessica is so sweet.  We just love her.
Little Peyton couldn't have looked cuter either.
Melissa and I played a violin duet (Pachelbel Canon) at the wedding dinner.  It was so fun to be together again as sisters.  We rarely get to see each other.  I love that little Cora (Catherine's baby) is peeking back there.
We snapped one big happy family photo the night before the two love birds got married.  It was especially good that Philip got to come out.  I hadn't seen him in years.
It was so cute to watch these little cousins (Ollie-Melissa's baby and Cora-Catherine's baby play).  Cora wouldn't let anyone but her mom hold her.
Dang!  My brothers are handsome!  From left to right it's Philip, Thomas, Joseph, Bradley, Matthew and Luke.
I got back from Utah and we left for California three days later to be with Rob's family for Thanksgiving.  Jane loved holding Kendra (Brian and Kym's baby), but she wouldn't let me hold her.  :)  She's my most jealous child.
Rob is the baby whisperer.  He put Kendra right to sleep.
Jane kept bringing Grandma books.  It was too cute.
But not too long later, she succumbed to sleep.  Poor thing fights those naps and aways caves when it's too late.
The kids played lots of games and of course hot tubbed it up.
We all went to see Big Hero 6.  It was a really cute show.
Is this not the cutest sight?  Grandma with her grandbabies reading.  She gave them "Elf on a Shelf" which we started in December.
Chelsea and I spent over 3 hours making these adorable turkeys for each of the place settings at Thanksgiving dinner.  After dinner, we let our stomachs settle a little and then went to the church to play some volleyball with a bunch of the Bells' friends.
