Natalie's Last Day of Kindergarten

Today was an emotional day for me.  I cried on Natalie's first day of kindergarten, and I cried on her last.  I have such a hard time with change...even if it's good.  We have loved Natalie's teacher, Ms. McBride and will miss her so much! She has been so wonderful and has been the perfect teacher for Natalie.

I can't believe too, that my baby girl will be a big first grader after the summer!  It's so hard for me to watch my kids growing up so fast.  I just treasure this time while they are little and want it to last forever!

The school year just flew by.  It seems like just yesterday I brought her for her first day and had to run out of the school before anyone saw my tear-stained face.

Now it's already over.

Here she is on her first day of kindergarten.

Here's one of her and Blake.  They both look so much younger!

And here she is today, on her last day of kindergarten.

Brother had to get in on the picture too and cheese it up. :)

Oh how she's changed in looks and intelligence!  She is a super reader, reading at a second grade level or higher.  She just amazes us everyday with her smarts!

Natalie has really grown and thrived this year with Ms. McBride, and we really appreciate her.  She's an amazing lady with tons of experience under her belt.  She was so sweet with the kids and taught them so much.

We celebrated the last day of school by picking up some mini chocolate icecream cups on our way home!

Natalie's class had a beach party yesterday.  They had a few different stations that they went around to, but the favorite by far was pool time!

Natalie was so sweet and shared her towel with a friend who hadn't brought one.

Last week was school spirit week at Natalie's school.  Natalie and a friend Jacque dressed alike on twin day.  Her friend Amy wanted to stand in too.

The day before that was crazy hair day, and we of course forgot until we pulled into the parking lot and saw other kids.  So I took the elastic out of Natalie's hair and pulled it up like this with one minute to spare before the bell rang. She wasn't so sure about it, but ended up being ok once she saw her friend had crazy hair too.  :)

Love all the pics! Natalie and Blake both look so much older in the last day of school pics compared to the first. Gosh, it really is so crazy how fast they grow up. Janey is the cutest little eight month old around. I love her eyes, so pretty! Looks like you guys have been busy, busy!
