Natalie loves the book "The Gingerbread Man". The other morning we were reading it and she said, "Can we make a gingerbread man?" So we did. She even helped measure and stir the ingredients. When we put them in the oven I told her to watch them so they didn't run away. The next day, when all the cookies had been eaten, she told me that they had all run away :)

Alyssa did the same thing when we were reading the Amelia Bedelia books. Everything Amelia made, Alyssa had to do too!
