I haven't posted anything in a little while. Rob's dad flew in Thursday night to go on a two day kayaking trip with Rob. Rob had been excited about it for so long and he couldn't sleep the night before just thinking about it. He was like a kid on Christmas Eve. They had so much fun. This was Rob's first real time on a river in his new kayak. He had been practicing in the pool for a few weeks leading up to it. Don't worry-I stayed home. Rob has been trying to convince me to try kayaking, but I will never give in. I just know that kayaking would not be my thing, but I'm glad Rob likes it. Natalie and I had a fun time playing and watching a girly movie "Emma" while the guys were gone.
After they got back Saturday night, we all went out for Mexican food at Papa Felipe's. So delicious. It was really fun having Rob's dad here. Natalie really loves her Grandpa. She followed him around everywhere. And I was actually able to hear the whole lesson in Sunday school and in Relief Society because Grandpa watched Natalie! It was great.

it is always fun to have family come visit!!
I was thinking today. I got another idea. I was thinking maybe once a month we could have a girls night out and go to the Temple and then dinner together and have some alone mommy time. What do you think. I am going to ask the other girls too and see what they think. That way we can get to the Temple without having to find a sitter because that is really hard to do and it also gets us free time for a night. Let me know what you think.

for the temple night, gilrs night out we were thinking hte 16th and doing the 6pm session. hope this works for you. let anybody else you know know then we can get a good turn out. we will also anouce it in releif society but that won't be till the week of so the further notice people have the better the chance of getting them to come. so mark the calender for the 16th!! I am so excited this will be great. then we should do dinner or ice cream after so we have time to chat with each other!! how fun, i can't wait.
