Rob's family came to visit us August 8-11. The first day, we went to the Rio Grande Zoo with them. The next day, we went white water rafting on the Rio Grande river. The last day, we went on a tram ride up the Sandia mountains. We had a wonderful time with them and we are so glad that they were able to visit.

This is the tram that we rode in. At the highest height, we were 1000 feet up in the air. It was a little scary, especially when looking down and then looking up and seeing that the only thing that was keeping us up there were some cables.

This brave man was riding on top of the tram on his way to fix one of the towers.

After getting to the top of the mountain, we hiked to a little cabin that was built for stranded hikers to take shelter during a storm.

Here's Natalie and me inside the stone cabin.

Outside the cabin.

Beautiful views from the top of the mountain.

Cute baby Natalie. She loved hiking and wanted to walk the entire way by herself. She cried when we had to carry her for parts of it.

We might be skiing down this very run come winter.

We visited the Rio Grande Aquarium. I thought this was a neat picture of the shark. He kept his mouth open, showing his sharp teeth as he swam around.

We went to the gardens also the same day that we visited the zoo and the aquarium.

Natalie and aunt Chelsea at the zoo.

Natalie and I got to ride on a camel for the first time. It was a neat experience.

Natalie with Grandma Bell, and aunt Chelsea. She was having a rough time right here as you can probably tell.

This is just a random picture of Natalie trying on her dad's shoes. She thought it was so neat.

Ohhh...you're brave. I hate trams! Everytime I went to Snowbird going on the tram was torture for me - something about standing up always made me feel like the floor was going to fall out from under me. Chair lifts don't cause me to bat an eye, but trams - not my favorite!
Looks like you had a grate time and Ms. Natalie was the center of attention, as she should be! Hope you are doing well.
How fun! You are always doing such fun things!
Christine! It made my day that you left a comment on my blog! Your little Natalie is ADORABLE...and I agree, time has flown since Wyview days...hope you don't mind if I add you to my friends list on my blog!
