Cute Little Natalie

We gave Natalie this toy for her birthday and at first she was a little hesitant to get on it, but now she loves it. She only knows how to go backwards, so she gets a little frustrated and calls me over to push her forwards. She likes to put little toys in the front compartment.

The other morning, Rob was watching Natalie for me while I took a shower. I guess she must have been exhausted because this is so unlike her to fall asleep so early in the morning (or to take a nap at all for that matter). She only slept for about 20 minutes, and I can imagine it was because she wasn't very comfortable on the floor. And then she didn't sleep for the rest of the day. This is what happens when I leave her with dad for a few minutes.

Natalie likes to get into the cupboards and pull out all my dishtowels. After she became mobile, I had to pretty much give up any hopes of ever having a clean house again and just let her have fun.

This was an extra funky hair day for Natalie. I somehow got it into a mohawk, even though it's pretty long now. It didn't stay like that for long though.

This is Natalie's new favorite hat. She found it in the cupboard the other day and started wearing it around. She likes it because even though it covers almost her whole face, she can still see out the peep holes up top. What a great hat!

This is Natalie just being cute, which is what she does best. You can see her little teeth that have come in. The poor baby hasn't slept very much in the past few weeks because of it.

This is Natalie being sneaky. She likes to go into our bedroom and get onto her dad's computer when no one is in there. We always know she is getting into trouble because it suddenly gets very quiet.

This is Natalie just posing for the camera. She had found a foam baseball bat that she was about to play with.

Natalie loves this little car-especially since it's not hers. When her little friend comes out in it, she jumps right in almost before he can get out of it. As you can see, she hasn't quite mastered the sharing thing yet. He of course wanted to get back in his car, but she wasn't about to let him.

These are two of Natalie's best friends (Marty and Aaron) that she likes to play with when we go outside. As you can tell, she has a lot of fun with them. We are really going to miss them when we move!

There's something about making noise that is just so much fun to kids. Rob and I joked back at Christmastime that Santa didn't need to spend much on Natalie. She would have been completely content with a few plastic bags and maybe a cardboard box.

Hey Christine! I am so glad you were able to find us. I have thought of your often since we moved away. We are currently living in Levan. We built our house about a year ago and have been trying to sell it for a while now. We are hoping to move closer to SLC were Lewis is working. I can't believe how big natalie is. She was just a few weeks old last time we saw her. We are pregnant again with a little boy, Kolby Cougar! I am due in the middle of JUly. It puts Jaxs and the baby 17 months apart. We are super excited. I am so happy that we can keep in touch now. When are you coming home to visit? Let us know so we can plan to get together!

Natalie is so stikin' cute. I love the picture of her sleeping on the floor. Apparently she was pretty tired! Kids do the cutest stuff. I also loved her mohawk...never too early for that :)
